Scaling and Polishing

Scaling in general terms means teeth cleaning. Extrinsic stains, hard and soft deposits from the teeth surface above and below the gum line are removed with specialized ultrasonic dental instruments.

Polishing is a procedure done right after scaling to smoothen the tooth surfaces which would reduce the probability of food particle deposition.

Scaling and Polishing not only cleans your teeth but also prevents and controls the severity of gum diseases.
